Различают следующие вариации: а) Лицом в одну сторону — партнеры смотрят в одну и ту же сторону и скользят бок о бок или друг за другом, вытянув руки и держась за кисти рук. б) Лицом друг к другу — обычно партнеры смотрят друг на друга, в то время как один движется назад, а другой — вперед, вытянув руки в стороны, но иногда эта позиция может выполняться спина к спине.

Dance position used in pair figure skating and ice dance. There are two types:) Facing in the same direction — partners face in the same direction and are skating side by side or one behind the other with their arms. extended and their hands clasped.) Facing in opposite directions — partners usually face each other while one skates backward and the other skates forward with the arms extended to the side, but sometimes the hold can be skated back to back.
